"Top Chef" 12/26

QC #6: At the Taylor Shellfish Farms located on Samish Bay at 2128 Chuckanut Drive, Bow, WA, 98232, the letter they got while in their Olive 8 hotel rooms stated that they need to harvest half-shell oysters before going inside the kitchen & make a dish w/ them in 25 minutes- half of the chefs have to make the oysters hot, while the other half need to make the oysters cold. The winner's awarded five grand.

Josh: Oysters w/ pickled cucumbers, white soy, cilantro & red chili

Brooke: Oysters w/ salsa verde, cilantro, horseradish & red chili
John: Oysters poached in garlic butter w/ Swiss chard & garlic-Parmesan foam
Josie: Wood-roasted oysters w/ chorizo & cilantro cream
Micah: Crispy fried oysters w/ arugula salad, hot sauce & lemon- WIN
Bart: Oysters w/ champagne, butter & cream
Sheldon: Oysters w/ chilled Old Bay broth & ginger scallion pesto

EC #6: Those two groups are divided into five teams of two to cook for the wrap party of the Rat City Roller Girls & their league; each team's dish is inspired by one of the RCRG's names.

Stefan & Kristen (Eddie Shredder): Corn puree & chicken liver w/ sunny-side up egg
Josh & Sheldon (Tempura Tantrum): Tempura yuzu curd w/ shiso, Fresno chili, sweet potato & vanilla
