Final Featured Prize: Trip to the Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain ($5,425)
Eggland's Best Jackpot Round: TV Title (ends w/ an exclamation mark)
He misses out on picking up the green 1/2 KIA by calling a dud of T. Secondly, Jessica has a wasted spin because of the Million Dollar Wedge's left-side Bankrupt. Third, Audra calls two L's for a grand while on the Jackpot, buys a column of three I's but then Bankrupts near the Wild Card. Phil follows suit by saying a dud of L while on the Bed, Bath & Beyond gift tag, then Jessica has found a $600 V to fill out the last word of the title (LIVE!), two E's to clean out the vowels but then nothing for a B call while on the vacation. Once Audra Bankrupts on the MDW's left side, Phil gets to the four V's for 10 big ones...

Mystery Round: Same Name
Jessica immediately lands the Mystery Wedge next to that MDW & calls four T's in exchange for $4K (but she could've had six grand more from its back side), at which point she lights an E, three A's but then an H call stops her. Second, Audra runs into Lose a Turn City. Third, Phil Free PLAYS a dud vowel in I and claims two N's for $1,600, the $450 D, the remaining vowels of two O's on top, $600 B & L couples also on top, a $1K S couplet, a $400 P & a couple of P's for 18 more $100 bills. But he then goes Bankrupt next to the WC to say goodbye to 62 bills. After that moment, Jessica calls the R for the Canadian holiday...

Prize Puzzle Round: Food & Drink
Audra leads off w/ a $500 N for the other 1/2 KIA but buying an O proves to be a stopper (& it's the sole bad vowel on the board). Second for Phil are $1K worth of double S's (both in the last word, one of which's at the very end), twin E's but then the MDW's other Bankrupt costs him $750; that's his second tonight. Third, Jessica reveals dos T's for six Benjamins & a half-dozen A's prior to her LaT spin. After Audra's N duplication, Phil gets three M's for 1,800 clams (I think that was the consonant Audra meant to call) & the rest of the vowel store (an I & a U pairing). The board now...

...but his quiet guess of PACK UP YOUR HEELS is wrong. Don't KICK UP YOUR HEELS in celebration, folks (especially Vanna, who's holding a few during their final talk), because...
...he's not the final $30K winner of the season. That being said, our final champ of Season 29 marches out w/ $19,250 in cash & Hawaii.
Let's recall what happened in Season 29:
-Jim "Jimmy" Thornton became the program's permanent announcer at the start of the season & even appeared at the end of the season's first week; you'll even see that week re-ran the following week.
-After being part of the Road Trip Week stunt late in S28, the 1/2 Car tags were introduced in Week 2 of this season & were on the wheel for most of this season. The 1/2 Car prize was won 18 times- 17 for a $15K KIA Soul & the other at the start of Halloween Week for a $14,999 Ford Fiesta.
-Besides those automobiles, eight more were won in the BR (on the first BR car win of the season, a pair of Honda CR-Vs were given away). Two solo players (one female & one male) won two cars in the season.
-The Jackpot in the Jackpot Round was won 14 times, way up from S28.
-The sears Secret Santa Sweepstakes was held for most of November, giving Wheel Watchers Club members a chance to win the exact same cash & prizes their in-studio partners finished with.
-As you know, there were 70 BR wins this season, down from the past few seasons (& we only had one 4-1 week, the one to close out '11), but at least that's higher than each of the last two seasons without the MDW in play.
-Not including partial ones, there were four BR SHUTOUTS this season, one less than last season.
-Also down from S28 was the number of $100K losses- eight (in comparison to the record-worst 11).
-The $100K was won twice late this season in a span of three episodes (& those were the last two times the BW landed on said grand prize envelope this season)- once at home on Apr. 26th (Kimberly Adams; $110.5K) & once in Portland, OR on their four-week road trip four days later (Emily Eichelberger; $111,250).
-Since that $1M envelope was landed & won for the first time, it hasn't been landed on since. Of course, we've had our share of close calls, win or lose in the bonus in this season- three times two spaces off (including twice in the SSSS- its first day & last day & the other on the opener of Sandals Resorts Romance Week), once one space off (Mar. 8th) & once when Emily won the $100K (but she lost her MDW late in the Jackpot Round).
-The America's Game Weeks were responsible for three BR SHUTOUTS last season, but there were none in this season's. In fact, they featured two of S29's three highest totals (Joan & Joe Hall, $87,470, and Kimberly).
-The latest Rebuilding Together bank's still at $40K; by the time S30 starts, there should be at least $95K in there.
Be sure to tune in Sept. 17th for the 30th Anniversary syndicated season, where they'll spend four weeks in The Big Apple, maybe the newer BR cash envelopes from Big Money Week will be made permanent & who knows what else. Until then, bye-bye!

John Keats called this American "...a philosophical Quaker full of mean and thrifty maxims".
"Who is Benjamin Franklin?"...yup. Once the round's board is cleared out, she's in Lock Game Territory w/ $9,400; Jim's got $3,600 & David gets the last-place advantage to start Double J!, since he has $2,600.

In 120-degree heat in Apr. 2009, British combat operations ended in this country, turned over to the U.S. brigade.
"What is Iraq?"...that proves to be right to move him into first at $12,600. Two clues later in the middle of 20th Century Writers...he has the last DD of the week as well from the $1,600 answer w/ $15,400 at this point; Jim's improved to $8,200. The champ goes for yet another $2K:
From 1962 until his death in '67, he was poet laureate of Illinois.
