-Two celebrities of note that have the same middle name (Marie) my mom (Laura) has are Carrie Underwood & Eve Torres.
-Speaking of Eve, she'll wrestle Kaitlyn at tomorrow's "WWE Friday Night Smackdown!" taping to determine who will be the assistant to Smackdown GM Booker T.
-There will be a new opening theme this coming season on "Wheel of Fortune". Also, there will be an on-screen BR timer in the contestant window for the first time since the Star Bonus era on the original NBC version w/ Chuck Woolery (in Australia, there was also a BR timer in its later years).
-Wayne Brady & Gilbert Gottfried were amongst the roasters on "The Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne" that aired last night (Alan Thicke was also in the audience & roastmaster Jane Lynch also has the middle name of Marie).
-Nick Cannon is in a new Office Depot commercial.
-Former "WWTBAM" Ask the Expert Candy Crowley will be the moderator of the year's second Presidential Debate on Oct 16th at Hofstra University, making her the first female moderator at one of these debates since 1992.
-Former "AMERICA'S NEXT top model" judge Andre Leon Talley's the fashion correspondent for "Entertainment Tonight". As you know by now, former "Nashville Star" host Nancy O'Dell has taken over for Mary Hart as lead anchor.
-Chad Johnson (Ochocinco) has been let go by the Miami Dolphins today after his arrest for domestic battery; this also results in his upcoming Vh1 reality show "Ev & Ocho" being pulled.
-"Repo Games" is on hiatus until September 18th at its usual time.
-The new foreign revival of "Minute to Win It", "Minuto Para Ganar", debuts tonight at 7 PM on MundoFox & is hosted by Marco Antonio Regil.
