One team will be eliminated at the end of each episode.

Paranormal: Ruby Carlsruh (candy craftswoman; competed on the previous cycle as part of Something Wicked), Ray Brown (pumpkin carver for Disney) & Leigh Henderson (cake artist)
Morbid Mayhem: Andy Bergholtz (pumpkin carver since last year), Peggy Tucker (candy craftswoman/master sugar artist) & Barbara Garrard (cake artist)
Screamish: Charity George (cake artist), Dean Murray (pumpkin artist) & Darci Rochau (candy craftswoman)
   
Regular Judges: Shinmin Li (cake decorator) & Tom Savini (award-winning special effects artist, as well as an actor & director)
Guest Judge (for at least this week only): Shawnee Smith (Horror actress)

Small Scare: Each team has to make a ghoul, a goblin or a combination of both in 45 minutes. The winners will get an advantage in the elimination challenge.

NGNG: Bright-eyed kid-eating candy-snatching goblin out of a pumpkin
Screamish: Ghoul out for a midnight snack w/ a cemetery & a gravestone
MM: Goblin inside a pumpkin w/ blood & an eyeball in a hand
Paranormal: Kitchen crawler goblin
DMW: A ghoul being spit from the mouth of a goblin inside a pumpkin- WIN (extra baking assistant)

SPINE CHILLER: Using pumpkin cake & candy, evil clowns have to be made, as well as a circus peanut-based sweet, in five hours.

DMW: Fisto w/ balloon animals & caramel candy popcorn
NGNG: Evil Bob w/ balloons over his head & bacon dulce de leche (w/ salt & peanuts)
Paranormal: Peanut vendors wrapped in cotton candy w/ pacoca
Screamish: Peanut vendor that takes money & limbs w/ edible chocolate peanut wafer bags & potato-carved teeth
MM: Jack-in-the-Box w/ peanut butter-filled chocolate peanuts
