"The Great Escape" 7/1
Armando & Victor (college baseball players from Miami, FL)
Tim & McKenna (father/daughter; she's about to graduate from college)
Sal & Jeanan (brother/sister; siblings)
DESTINATION: USS Hornet (the detainment zone's the brig, which is the fourth & bottom deck on this ship)
(Note: Jeff Lippencott & Mark T. Williams compose the music for this show in addition to "WWTBAM" & "The Biggest Loser".)
Stage #1 (ballast tank, the third deck): Dive for a colored key to a locker, open that locker & take a chain hoist to the torpedo room.
FIRST WORD IN $100K DESTINATION: COAST
Surprisingly, the RT's in the early lead after a dreadful start.
Stage #2 (TR): Hoist a supply crate from the torpedo rack, then remove the valve & wrench from the crate prior to going to the chain locker through the hanger deck.
SECOND WORD IN $100K DESTINATION: GUARD
Stage #3 (anchor chamber): Pull a big chain through a porthole & rip a red flag before going to the Central Information Center.
LAST WORD IN $100K DESTINATION: CUTTER
Just as they get to this, the GT leaves behind their map...& ARE CAPTURED IN THE HANGAR DECK, so the BT definitely moves into second place.
FINAL STAGE (C.I.C.): Using a circular letter-to-number plotting board w/ numbers from 1-7, a six-digit combination has to be figured out. After pressing the pound sign, entering the right combination & pressing the pound sign again, they'll retrieve a headset, balloons, an access card & the final part to TGK key.
The GT forgets another crucial item on their way to here- the code flag.
DQ_ (9)
From there, they have to rappel down the ship & release an orange balloon to hail the escape yacht.
The RT & BT never got caught the whole episode...
...but since this team left behind their final accessories in the CIC's vault, they've virtually eliminated themselves...the BT, so the RT WINS!
